Ahh…Great Lakes Christmas Ale…to make you all jealous, I just wanted you to know that here, at the end of January 2010, I still have half a keg left in my trusty Kegerator!

While most Cleveland retailers and bars have run out of Christmas Ale for the year, the 1890 Lounge at the Hyatt Regency/Arcade still has plenty of Christmas Ale on tap for $3 a pint!

I just acquired a couple 6 packs of Great Lakes Christmas Ale from my local grocery store. Oh how great it feels to celebrate Christmas with a good beer!

Makes me yearn for their Christmas Ale. I believe the guys up there have to make some of the best beers I have ever had. I rarely find one I don’t like. The last time I was there I had the pleasure of talking with one of the brewers about thier Barley Wine. I had a taste but since I was only there for lunch I couldn’t enjoy a full glass. It’s a shame they didn’t bottle it.

Cleveland represent!! I was at the brewery a few years back for a benefit for the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival. The Christmas Ale is on tap at my fav bar in the area. It is very popular.
