Chili is an awesome avenue for using beer in cooking – I always use some in my chili. This recipe looks really good and just in time for Superbowl weekend. Consider using cocoa in your next batch. I use a brisket rub that I got from Shawn Paxton (google the homebrew chef!) that uses cocoa and ground ancho chili – the combo is superb! I usually use that rub in my chili. Cheers! — Alan

Thanks for the ideas on getting rid of some Christmas beer! I received some beer as a gift and let’s just say it’s not my style(that’s code for it sucks). Making some chili is a great way to use it up!

I make a mean Guinness Stout Chili. Plenty of heat well balanced with sweetness. It has received rave reviews and even won a chili cookoff.
