I made something very similar a couple weeks ago using a Pliny the Elder homebrew clone instead of the DFH. You’re right, the hops add bite! In a good, sort of painful pleasure way that is.. I didn’t add the butter though. I’ll do that next time to smooth it out some. Good stuff!
