I will be sampling a few of Chicago’s finest stouts… one of our best local breweries Goose Island has a Stout Fest every year, but it’s not until March next year

… and though I love a good stout and will be drinking a Bison Organic Chocolate Stout on International Stout Day, I admit, I don’t know what makes a stout stout??!! My palate is far more developed (in the beer world) than my brain. Please educate.
