“BYE” Week For “Drink With The Wench”

I regret to inform everything that there will not be a “Drink With The Wench” this Friday night.

Now, before you go cry yourself into a frenzy – there is good news. Next week will be an extra special tasting. What will make it extra special? Well, the details are still being worked on.

Rumor has it (well, the Barley’s website says it) that Barley’s Smokehouse and Brewpub has Bell’s Hopslam on deck to be a “guest beer.” The exact date is still unknown and I will be diligently contacting them to ensure a “Drink With The Wench” tasting of Hopslam on draft!

In other news, I’ve been playing with the idea of hosting a “pot-luck” beer party. Anyone who wishes to participate will be responsible for providing a beer for everyone to taste. The beers will be organized into tasting flights – and then tasted and rated. I will release more details in the very near future. It might be a good idea to pick a beer theme such as ambers or porters (or barley wine?), but I’m still on the fence about that.

Suggestions and feedback are encourage. Also, this is a reminder that I would love to have guest writers to better enhance the success of this blog as well as increase my personal beer knowledge. If you are interested email me.

See you all out next week for an extra special Wench adventure!
